Job Description
DevSecOps Engineer taking a proactive role in driving DevSecOps at Capgemini Engineering. Focused on cloud security, software delivery, and creating templates for engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Take a highly proactive and hands‑on role in driving the DevSecOps function
- Focus on defining standards, securing the delivery pipeline, strengthening cloud and Kubernetes security
- Ensure reliable, automated software delivery across the platform
- Own CI/CD pipelines with SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM, signing
- Manage Kubernetes/EKS policies (IRSA, OPA, network policies)
- Implement GitOps (Argo CD) and progressive delivery (Rollouts)
- Ensure security posture: IAM, secrets, encryption, WAF, vulnerability management
- Lead observability: CloudWatch, Splunk
- Oversee DR, backup, resilience patterns, incident response
- Enable teams with platform templates and documentation
- Act as DevSecOps, guiding principles and best practices across teams without managing headcount
Requirements:
- Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
- 4+ years of professional experience relevant to the role
- Technical skills: CI/CD pipeline engineering and automation
- Application security tooling: SAST, DAST, SCA
- Software supply chain security: SBOM, signing
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Amazon EKS
- Policy enforcement frameworks: OPA
- AWS identity and access management: IAM, IRSA
- GitOps workflows: Argo CD
- Progressive delivery practices: Argo Rollouts
- Secrets and encryption management
- WAF configuration and management
- Vulnerability management and remediation strategies
- Observability with CloudWatch, Splunk
- Disaster recovery and backup strategy design
- Resilience and high-availability architecture patterns
- Incident response and operational readiness
- Ability to create templates, standards, and documentation for engineering teams
