Job Description

Digital Pathology Sales Specialist responsible for account acquisition and client engagement. Collaborating on imaging solutions in the cancer diagnosis and treatment pathway, with travel involved.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, optimize efficiency, and integrate pathology imaging solutions
  • Secure agreement and a clear path forward to address customer needs
  • Clearly articulate the value of digital pathology
  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvements and recommendations tied to clinical, financial, and operational performance using Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers for benchmarking and sharing industry best practices
  • Evaluate customer workflows and create plans to achieve digital pathology objectives
  • Communicate technical product information clearly to diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of quota-bearing experience in a sales role with clinical laboratories or pathology accounts within the territory
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and commercial laboratory purchasing processes
  • Executive-level presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience in identifying target accounts, prospecting, and managing the full sales cycle
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Ability to apply creative strategies to close deals
  • Ability to contribute to and manage the proposal and contracting process
  • Deep knowledge of the digital pathology market and competitors and/or an existing network of influential decision makers
