Job Description
Teach For All leader advancing global teacher-workforce policy and government partnerships. Building coalitions and supporting network partners across eligible remote locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Teach For All’s global strategy on teacher workforce development
- Build a coalition of governments, multilateral organizations, philanthropy, researchers, and civil society
- Advance policy frameworks and collective action that strengthen the teaching profession
- Support network partners in developing government engagement strategies
- Help partners unlock public and multilateral funding
- Strengthen enabling policy environments and expand fellow placement opportunities
- Support long-term organizational sustainability for network partners
- Generate and disseminate learning, practical tools, and evidence
- Position Teach For All as a global thought leader on teacher workforce development and systems change
- Collaborate with regional support teams and global learning teams to provide coordinated support
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of experience with or in government relations, development, public administration, or a related field
- Proven success working with or in public institutions, multilateral organizations, or other donors
- Required experience supporting or leading grassroots and locally led organizations in developing public sector engagement strategies in ASEAN
- Exceptional relationship-building, facilitation, and coaching across cultures
- Strong understanding of policymaking, development financing, and government systems, especially in education and developing countries
- Strategic thinking and ability to navigate complex political and operational environments
- Comfort working in a global, networked, and fast-paced environment
- English fluency required
- Additional language(s) strongly preferred
- Experience working and/or living in international contexts is desirable, not required
- Experience supporting fundraising or subgrants management processes is desirable, not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Documents is desirable, not required
- Must already possess valid work and residency authorization in the country of hire at the time of application
