Job Description

District Manager driving wastewater-treatment and specialty chemical sales for Cesco Solutions across British Columbia. Managing customer relationships, technical support, training, and regional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and execute sales plans within the existing customer base and assigned competitively held accounts to achieve growth targets
  • Work with current and prospective customers in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation strategies
  • Develop relationships with plant and facility executives and other key stakeholders
  • Provide technical support by identifying and resolving customer challenges and escalating issues as needed
  • Conduct system analyses, interpret data, and provide written recommendations for optimal customer operations
  • Train customers on Cesco products
  • Verify proper application equipment functionality and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Promote and support Cesco innovations and technology within assigned accounts
  • Travel locally and throughout the district to meet customers and support accounts
  • Report to the Regional Manager

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the technical sales industry
  • Must be able to review, edit, interpret, and create detailed sales and service reports
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with technical teams, product teams, and other business groups
  • Working knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
  • Preferred: 10+ years experience in wastewater treatment operations and sales
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology or related field
  • Must be willing to travel 40%-60% throughout the district
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid local BC driver's license and proof of insurance required by the time of hire
  • Subject to a background check
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to stand, talk, hear, walk, and sometimes lift or move various weighted objects
