Job Description
Engineer planning and developing electrical distribution and supply networks at netzkontor nord gmbh. Focused on integrating renewable energy and creating technical solutions in energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks (distribution and connection networks)
- Power system analysis and network simulation (load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop)
- Integration and assessment of EEG installations (e.g., PV, wind, storage)
- Planning and sizing of substations and transformer stations
- Supporting our clients in preparing grid connection requests
- Preparation of planning documents, concepts and technical documentation
- Coordination with grid operators, clients and project stakeholders
- Contributing to innovative solutions in energy networks (e.g., Smart Grids, grid optimization)
Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience in planning power supply networks (MV/LV; ideally also HV)
- Knowledge of power system analysis
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (EEG, TAB, VDE guidelines)
- Structured and independent working style
- Strong technical understanding
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Business-fluent German, both written and spoken
- Preferably experience in substation planning
