Job Description
Engineer specializing in the design and optimization of mechanical systems for nuclear projects. Responsible for supporting certification processes and incorporating design requirements in analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary and detailed design of mechanical systems on the BWRX-300
- Support mechanical systems design and/or equipment procurement and construction activities
- Incorporate component and product design requirements into analyses and design deliverables
- Support the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering role
- Experience in nuclear system design activities including development of process flow diagrams
- Engineer-in-Training in the United States or Canada
- Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada
