Job Description
Engineering Intern creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings for Custom Truck One Source’s specialized truck and equipment solutions. Maintaining revisions and resolving drawing errors with contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Document designs using 3D solid software (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD)
- Create detailed drawings of 3D models using SolidWorks and/or OnShape
- Convert 2D drawings to 3D Onshape drawings
- Maintain revision control on drawings and other controlled documents
- Work directly with contractors to resolve drawing errors and provide solutions
- Interact significantly with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager as part of a learning opportunity
Requirements:
- Existing experience as Load King Engineering Intern in good standing with the company
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc.
- Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Experience using Monday.com
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Ability to sit and perform computer work
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
