Job Description

Estate Planning Paralegal supporting California probate and trust matters for RecruitGo. Managing case files, drafting documents, and preparing court filings in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing case files, drafting petitions and trust documents under attorney supervision.
  • Preparing court filings, coordinating notices and service to beneficiaries.
  • Tracking assets and creditor claims, assisting with trust distributions and accountings.
  • Opening new matters in case management system, maintaining task lists and deadlines.
  • Drafting probate petitions and preparing trust administration documents.
  • Assisting in drafting informal accountings, organizing receipts, disbursements, and distributions.
  • Coordinating with title companies and preparing preliminary change of ownership reports.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Estate Planning, with a focus on Trust Administration and/or Probate (California Probate experience is highly desired but not required)
  • Fluent conversational English (considered a plus)
  • Possible Law degree
