Job Description
Estimating Assistant preparing door hardware and ironmongery quotations for RecruitGo, an Employer of Record company. Sourcing products, maintaining schedules, and supporting global clients remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send accurate live and tender quotations within required turnaround times
- Create and maintain schedules using the company's scheduling system
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests for additional information
- Source products and coordinate sample requests for customers
- Assist with negotiations to achieve competitive pricing where appropriate
- Ensure quotations are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements
- Work closely with the Senior Estimator and internal teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, schedules, and customer communications
- Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and ensure that client expectations are met
- Uphold the values of urgency, reliability, quality, and solution-oriented service in daily activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in architectural ironmongery or a related construction/building products industry
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Product sourcing and negotiation skills are advantageous
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
