Job Description
Estimator developing budgets, takeoffs, bids, and production estimates for Integra’s turnkey data center infrastructure. Coordinating proposals, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and construction teams.
Responsibilities:
- Gather project information and requirements and set priorities
- Perform quantity takeoffs and production estimates
- Evaluate and interpret construction drawings
- Prepare construction budgets from plans, specifications, and projected costs
- Evaluate purchase offers and cost changes, additions, and site requirements
- Obtain and negotiate bids from vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain cost keys and price masters
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Prepare special reports and summarize information and trends
- Follow organizational quality standards
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs across work teams
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies
- Coordinate with Project Management on proposals
- Coordinate with Construction Management on production rates, schedule milestones, and job sequence
- Contribute to related team efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; 8+ years preferred
- Concrete estimating experience required
- Quality-focused
- Tilt-up and commercial flatwork experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong budget and documentation skills
- Vendor relationship management experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
- Working knowledge of construction scheduling
- Ability to develop and manage teams
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and make strong decisions
- Current driver’s license
- Travel less than 25%, with potential travel to meetings and job sites as needed
- Must pass physical exam
- Must be a US Citizen
