Job Description

Hiring Events Coordinator facilitating virtual interviews, hiring events, and placement for CIEE’s seasonal exchange programs. Supporting host employers, international representatives, and participants across U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate virtual hiring services for CIEE host employers using webcam-based interviews
  • Review host employer needs for seasonal staff
  • Advertise opportunities to prospective participants through CIEE’s international representative network
  • Schedule and oversee virtual hiring event execution
  • Communicate and collaborate with CIEE teams, host employers, and international representatives via email, telephone, Skype, and Microsoft Teams
  • Create calendar invitations and send event reminders
  • Communicate event adjustments efficiently
  • Allocate host employer positions and communicate requirements to international representatives
  • Manage enrollments and ensure completion of interview documents before virtual events
  • Provide live technical support during hiring events
  • Manage post-event reporting and maintain accurate hiring records in CIEE’s database
  • Provide consistent, professional customer service to stakeholders
  • Conduct applicant interviews for placement into seasonal positions
  • Train seasonal staff as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of experience working in a customer-facing/client management role
  • Experience in event planning and scheduling preferred
  • Knowledge of virtual event management a plus
  • High level of computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Salesforce and advanced Excel experience, such as development of macros, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Very high-level customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to take initiative and drive projects independently
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information and communicate project direction and status
  • Strong ability to multitask while overseeing daily projects and events
  • Ability to work some early mornings and evenings to accommodate host schedules
  • Willingness to travel to overseas hiring events and domestically as requested
  • Readiness to grow and develop yourself, stakeholders, and the program
