Job Description
Family Therapist providing remote psychotherapy services using evidence-based practices for addiction treatment. Seeking Masters Level Clinicians with relevant licenses and experience in family therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments
- Craft plans for care in collaboration with patients
- Conduct individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based practices
- Include family members and supportive significant others in treatment sessions
- Coordinate with other service providers
- Participate in staff training, program development, and program evaluation, with emphasis on creating an environment conducive to patient’s needs
- Participate in group and individual supervision to ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices
Requirements:
- Education: LMFT, LMHC, and NYS License or MFT or MHC and Limited Permit
- Experience: 1-2 years of treatment of substance use disorders
