Job Description
Therapist Training Specialist designing and delivering onboarding and training programs for ABA therapists. Support therapists' development and ensure training aligns with clinical goals in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing therapists
- Conduct training sessions on ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and company protocols
- Support therapists in developing clinical skills, data collection accuracy, and session management
- Monitor training progress and provide feedback, coaching, and performance support
- Ensure therapists meet competency standards and certification requirements (e.g., RBT readiness)
- Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical leadership to align training with treatment goals
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and SOPs
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training initiatives
- Assist with quality assurance by reviewing session implementation and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of training completion and performance outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- RBT certification required; BCaBA or BCBA preferred
- Proven experience in training, coaching, or mentoring staff
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple trainees simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment preferred
