Job Description
Field Service Technician installing, repairing, and maintaining Aristocrat’s casino gaming machines. Providing customer-focused technical support across assigned territories with substantial travel.
Responsibilities:
- Install, convert, troubleshoot, repair, and remove Aristocrat gaming machines, signs, and gaming controllers
- Perform routine maintenance on gaming machines
- Respond promptly to customer calls and emergency requests, prioritizing critical issues
- Complete Pre-Site Surveys, follow the schedule, and perform assigned service activities
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow the parts inventory process
- Support customers with technical inquiries and documentation
- Report trends, needs, and service challenges
- Review pre-install documents to determine required installation parts
- Gather and accurately report service activities using field service management reporting tools
- Uphold professionalism, integrity, and customer service standards
- Self-direct day-to-day tasks with little direction
- Follow Aristocrat’s Safety Guidelines
- Operate designated service vehicles and box trucks
- Travel to customer casino locations and service territories
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Clean and valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Able to acquire a gaming license as required
- Willing to do daily travel in the assigned territory
- Regional and national travel may be up to 30%
- Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, highly organized, and proactive
- Passion for technology and solving problems
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to push up to 250 pounds with moving equipment
- Able to climb and balance on ladders
- Good manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination, and eyesight
- Able to drive and operate a vehicle for extended periods
- Experience as a slot technician, field service of technical products, or other diagnostic work preferred
- Experience working in the field, being on call, and traveling for work preferred
- Experience with electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting preferred
- Must complete mandatory background screening and regulatory approvals
- Must be authorized to work in the job posting location full-time without current or future visa sponsorship
