Job Description
Forward Deployed Engineer building AI-augmented CAD and simulation workflows for Synera’s engineering automation platform. Partnering with customers and product teams to deploy multi-agent solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera to demonstrate fast customer value
- Identify valuable next use cases with customers
- Regularly visit customers, with travel up to 50% stated in the responsibilities
- Fill missing functionality using scripts, web node automations, and custom add-ins
- Optimize agent and multi-agent-system prompts for reliability
- Communicate with Synera product managers to bring temporary solutions into the product
- Align weekly priorities with Customer Success Managers
- Build workflows for extracting costing-relevant CAD data
- Lead customer workshops and incorporate workflows into multi-agent systems using real data
- Participate in developer sprint reviews and provide user insights to product managers
- Finalize workflows and participate in knowledge-exchange sessions with FDEs and Solution Engineers
Requirements:
- US permanent resident located on the West Coast
- Technical background in Computational, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven customer-facing experience, with strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate business value through technical solutions
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, or LS-DYNA
- Experience and/or deep interest in AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and vibe coding
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with clients and explain complex topics clearly and engagingly
- Around 40% travel for customer visits, workshops, and on-site collaboration, mainly on the West Coast
- Experience with Synera and/or C# and Python coding is a plus
