Job Description
Full Stack Developer building scalable web and mobile applications for Zipdev's client. Leading development teams, APIs, hybrid mobile projects, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain web and mobile applications
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions
- Apply software design patterns to ensure efficiency, maintainability, and scalability
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle from analysis and architecture through implementation and deployment
- Develop and maintain RESTful services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code following modern ES6 standards
- Develop and support hybrid mobile applications using Cordova and Ionic
- Analyze application requirements and structure technical solutions based on project needs
- Design solutions supporting scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
- Identify technical challenges and implement solutions using design patterns and development best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of existing applications
- Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and support
- Participate in or lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile development processes
- Serve as a Scrum Master when required
- Work with stakeholders and team members to plan, prioritize, and deliver development initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Extensive experience developing web and mobile applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of ES6 standards and modern JavaScript development
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful services/APIs
- Experience with hybrid mobile application development, particularly Cordova and Ionic
- Strong understanding and practical application of software design patterns
- Experience with software analysis, architecture, development, implementation, and application management
- Experience leading development teams and providing technical direction
- Strong experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master is highly valuable
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Must be in LATAM
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of web and mobile applications
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional development teams
- Experience mentoring developers and establishing development best practices
- Strong understanding of application scalability and performance optimization
- Experience taking ownership of projects from initial analysis through implementation and delivery
Benefits:
- Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
