Job Description
Geospatial Team Leader guiding 15+ aviation geospatial staff at Woolpert, a global architecture, engineering, and geospatial services firm. Overseeing technical quality, deliverables, planning, and people management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership for a group of 15+ technical geospatial staff
- Perform technical work and QA/QC while managing others
- Provide subject matter expertise and oversight for project deliverables
- Create, refine, and implement technical processes
- Develop and reinforce QA/QC standards
- Create and oversee the quality of team deliverables
- Train, coach, mentor, supervise, manage, and motivate staff
- Resolve issues affecting technical project objectives
- Lead or support technical scope, budget/pricing development, proposals, and project planning
- Support client relationships and business development
- Coordinate with Aviation Regional Delivery, Survey Discipline, and Geospatial Sector
- Review scopes of work and fees for approval
- Serve as key internal technical contact
- Provide monthly reports on resource planning, percent completes, budget dollar variance, and market communications
- Plan and schedule team workload and performance
- Manage resource planning to maintain appropriate team capacity
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable industry experience within the aviation sector preferred
- Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience preferred
- Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located
