Job Description

Graduate trainee developing supplier quality assurance and supply-risk processes at MAHLE, a global automotive technology company. Supporting digital tools, cross-functional projects and international assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain broad experience across MAHLE Thermal & Fluid Systems Quality during the 18-month Global Career Starter Program, with long-term development focused on Supplier Quality Assurance
  • Contribute to selected quality activities and work closely with the global Supplier Quality Assurance organization
  • Support interfaces with Preventive Quality, Customer Quality and Purchasing through learning assignments and cross-functional collaboration
  • Review SQA processes and supporting tools within the agreed project scope
  • Enhance process transparency and identify and concretize digitalization initiatives
  • Assess digitalization potential, supplier-quality measures, effort and cost, and opportunities for digital solutions
  • Support BU2 implementation of a digital global Tool Refurbishment tracker/database
  • Coordinate interfaces among BU SQA, Corporate SQA and Purchasing
  • Clarify requirements and systematics with process owners
  • Support a bounded implementation or pilot and contribute to a controlled global rollout concept, subject to process-owner and IT approvals
  • Enhance Supply Risk Management within Supplier Quality through risk identification, process optimization and collaboration with Purchasing, Logistics and Risk Management
  • Present findings and hand over maintainable project outputs to named process owners
  • Participate in international projects and, subject to program planning, one international assignment

Requirements:

  • Completed or will complete by April 2027 a Master’s degree with above-average results, preferably in a technical or engineering discipline
  • Interest in quality, supplier development, manufacturing processes and international collaboration
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly with international stakeholders
  • Initiative and a hands-on mindset

  • Analytical problem solving
  • Digital mindset and constructive approach to change
  • Ability to structure technical issues, distinguish facts from assumptions, critically check data sources and completeness, explain analyses, identify root-cause questions and translate findings into practical actions
  • At least three months of international experience
