Job Description
Global Licensing & Compliance Audit Lead to support regulatory audits and licensing compliance for Safeguard Global. Collaborate with stakeholders for operational validation and remediation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the business in conducting a global licensing and regulatory audit across selected entities to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and drive remediation efforts in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review in-scope legal entities and associated business activities
- Assess local licensing, regulatory, and operational requirements by country
- Determine whether existing licenses appropriately cover entity structure and registration type, jurisdictional requirements, business activities performed, applicable regulatory limitations and conditions.
- Evaluate entity and operational capabilities within each market, including restrictions related to worker type, job function, worksite location, and employment structure.
- Assess feasibility of supporting more complex workforce scenarios, including blue-collar employees, on-site workers, and manufacturing environments.
- Identify gaps between legal permissibility and current operational readiness.
- Validate that entities maintain current and valid licenses, licenses aligned with actual operational activities, clear visibility into compliance risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations, and Regional teams, external counsel, regulators, and local authorities, where required.
- Identify missing licenses, registrations, or approvals,
- Gather required documentation and application requirements, obtain cost estimates, timelines, and dependency assessments, coordinate remediation activities with regional leads and external advisors.
- Ensure the entity management and licensing repository is complete, accurate, and up to date, reflects current licensing details and requirements, maintains clear ownership, renewal tracking, and audit readiness.
- Contribute to internal guidance materials, market playbooks, and leadership-ready reporting. Provide regular audit status updates and progress reporting. Escalate material regulatory risks, delays, or compliance concerns promptly. Deliver global and regional audit summaries, risk-based prioritization of findings, clear remediation plans, timelines, and estimated costs.
Requirements:
- Understanding of global employment models, labor regulations, and entity-based service limitations
- 2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following: Entity management, Regulatory or licensing compliance, Corporate governance
- Strong knowledge of EOR, PEO, staffing, and contingent workforce frameworks
- Familiarity with regulated business models and multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements
- Strong project management and data management capabilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones
- Prior experience in consulting, legal advisory, global HR, or workforce compliance preferred
- Self-starter able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
