Job Description
Graphic Designer creating visual text, layouts, and production designs for Maa-Althahab. Developing unique graphics for websites, packaging, and corporate reports with a strong design background.
Responsibilities:
- Create visual text and imagery concepts, by hand or using computer software, and communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
- Develop and shape the overall layout and production design for the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, corporate reports and more.
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
- Communicating with Creative Director about layout and design.
- Handling the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media and amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.
- 2-3 years of proven graphic design experience.
- Experience as a graphic designer, demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Video editing and Motion Graphics design experiences preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
