Job Description
Compliance Coordinator ensuring credentialing and compliance operations remain documented for healthcare aides and therapists. Requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, medical clearances, physicals, I-9s, and other required personnel documents
- Follow up with aides and therapists on outstanding or expiring documentation — keeping staff accountable and records complete
- Conduct pre-hire compliance audits to ensure all required paperwork is in order before onboarding begins
- Perform routine audits of personnel files and compliance systems to verify accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update the compliance database with timely, accurate information
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, and external agencies to collect and verify documentation
- Prepare compliance reports and flag issues proactively to leadership
- Support policy updates and process improvement initiatives related to compliance tracking
- Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in compliance, HR, or administrative coordination
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database/compliance management systems
