Job Description
Leader in homologation overseeing complex passive safety projects at UTAC. Engaging with clients and regulatory bodies while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of and analyze homologation/certification dossiers
- Serve as the client liaison
- Manage tests and/or inspections (assess resources and monitor testing) at client sites, UTAC laboratories or subcontractors
- Complete inspection forms
- Collect and analyze test and/or inspection results
- Draft test reports and/or homologation (type-approval) reports
- Prepare manufacturer dossiers where applicable
- Manage archiving of homologation files, documents and test results
- Report to your manager
- Lead technical negotiations with clients
- Guide and support clients through the homologation process
- Define and formalize test and/or inspection programs
- Propose solutions and improvement actions (technical, procedural, quality, etc.)
- Maintain expertise in applicable regulations
- Develop new reference documents (procedures, processes, etc.)
- Manage relations with regulatory authorities
- Train and mentor colleagues in your area of expertise and/or on UTAC internal tools
- Participate in continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) OR a 2–3 year technical diploma (Bac+2/3) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in passive safety
- Junior managerial candidates accepted; non-managerial technical candidates should have 10 years’ experience
