Job Description
Technical Service Engineer providing expertise in energy conservation measures for retro-commissioning projects. Collaborating with engineering teams and leading technical strategies for optimized energy management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
- Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and the requirements to complete the scope of work.
- Develops energy conservation strategies.
- Reviews Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for equipment and services procurement.
- Conducts commissioning and occasional peer reviews of design documents.
- Assists in the optimization of complex equipment/system upgrades.
- Provides post-implementation on-site operations and maintenance training for staff.
- Develops training material for Technical Services teams.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.
- Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.
- Possesses expert technical knowledge of the subject matter.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and Customer/Client orientation.
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor others.
- Ability to problem solve and analyze complex systems.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects with competing deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
