Job Description
Independent ASEAN equities analyst building Indonesia and broader ASEAN equity coverage for Smartkarma’s AI-augmented investment intelligence platform. Delivering data-driven research and high-touch institutional client services.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale comprehensive ASEAN equities coverage, with a particular focus on Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region
- Deliver high-impact, data-driven research and bespoke client services
- Conduct equity bottom-up analysis, including company tear-sheets, channel checks, and management-meeting takeaways
- Provide thematic commentary on economic and sectoral drivers across ASEAN markets
- Develop valuation and relative-value frameworks, including benchmark comparisons and peer analyses
- Produce event-driven briefs covering earnings previews, corporate actions, and capital-markets updates
- Offer high-touch service for select institutional clients
Requirements:
- Extensive research and/or investment experience for institutional clients (10 yrs+)
- Proven track record and an extensive network across ASEAN equity capital markets
- Demonstrated ability to write research
- Senior independent analyst capable of building and scaling comprehensive ASEAN equities coverage
- Experience delivering high-impact, data-driven research and bespoke client services
