Job Description
Senior Instructional Developer at GDIT creating training for EHRM deployment within Veterans Health Administration. Designing learner-centered experiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop effective learning experiences and comprehensive curriculum aligned with Millenium clinical workflows
- Apply instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and curriculum planning frameworks to create impactful and modern training materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify instructional strategies and select appropriate delivery modalities and learning methodologies
- Create and manage course documentation, job aids, guides, and related training materials
- Conduct regular assessments to define measurable learning outcomes and performance-related impact metrics, ensuring program effectiveness
- Adjust curriculum based on feedback from VHA stakeholders, learners, and changes in organizational requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience with instructional course development in clinical environments
- 5 + years of related experience
- 3+ years of experience developing EHRM clinical training materials
- Proven experience working in clinical or healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to design training materials for an EHRM managed service solution
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
