Job Description

Junior Intelligence Analyst enhancing data collection capabilities for cybersecurity. Involves data gathering from dark web and open-source intelligence improving the company's intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Be reactive to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging threats and changes in the operating environment.
  • Identify new sources of potential interest.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure relevant cyber content is harvested and made available.
  • Help determine the prioritization of data collection requests.
  • Undertake the evaluation, analysis, integration and interpretation of information in order to produce intelligence on a range of cyber threat subjects.
  • Develop actionable intelligence products and outputs such as threat assessments and intelligence reports.
  • Develop content for the use of the Searchlight Cyber marketing team.
  • Share knowledge within the team to benefit and enhance understanding.
  • Engage with relevant internal stakeholders to develop the Searchlight platform in a manner that will benefit end users collection, processing and dissemination activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Understanding of the cyber threat environment.
  • Demonstratable cyber security / intelligence learning.
  • Understanding of intelligence frameworks.
  • Understand and abide by the principles of intelligence.
  • Experience with databases / APIs.
