Job Description
Lead Threat Hunter responsible for establishing and driving organization's threat hunting program to detect advanced threats. Oversee proactive threat detection and automation processes to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the threat hunting program (10%)
- Formulate hunting hypotheses based on priority threats (15%)
- Conduct proactive and ad hoc hunting exercises (25%)
- Validate and escalate relevant uncovered threats (10%)
- Automate and orchestrate the hunting process (30%)
- Document the process and train the team (5%)
- Design and implement reporting metrics (5%)
Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in the Cybersecurity or IT fields of study required
- Proven work experience with a wide variety of cybersecurity tools and data analytics platforms
- Relevant cybersecurity and technology certifications
- Able to quickly learn new systems and technology
