Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer managing and automating server infrastructure for a U.S.-based outsourcing company. Collaborating with clients to ensure reliable services and optimize processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company’s on-premises and cloud server infrastructure
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize network systems, websites, and related services
  • Automate CI/CD processes and infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve alerts from monitoring tools to address vulnerabilities
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., process automation, AI) to support infrastructure, deployment, and automation tasks
  • Provide similar support with infrastructure, deployment, and automation tasks for client projects
  • Participate in daytime shifts on weekdays, assisting clients with any monitoring alerts or issues

Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in high-demand IT environments
  • Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows server administration expertise
  • Experience with web servers (Apache, NGINX)
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
  • Experience with AWS or GCP
  • Experience with Ansible and Puppet for configuration management and automation
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, routing, 802.11 standards, SSH, HTTPS, IPsec)
  • Intermediate English level
  • Responsibility, clear communication, and proactive visibility within the team
  • Desirable: Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, and IaC (Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with GCP
  • Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, and Zabbix
  • Understanding of security best practices and vulnerabilities
  • Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
