Job Description
Jira-Confluence Data Center engineer rebuilding a NATO cyber operations platform mock-up. Capturing AQAP requirements and delivering video and live industry demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Build a simulated environment reproducing the live NATO cyber operations management platform across its two networks
- Reproduce the Jira and Confluence relationship, production plugins, Jira processes, low-side/high-side workflow tracking, dynamically published wiki pages, and dynamic page templates
- Load sufficient mock data for every process to run at least ten times without reusing the same record
- Capture functional and non-functional requirements in NATO AQAP-conforming format
- Identify data requiring migration to a replacement capability
- Draft requirements in Confluence and deliver them as a Word document
- Produce a recorded walkthrough covering the platform and each requirement with requirement timecodes
- Host the video for the contract period plus two months
- Present the mock-up online at an industry engagement day and answer questions
- Guarantee the demonstration environment is operational on the day
Requirements:
- Five years or more of Atlassian Jira Data Center administration
- Five years or more of Confluence Data Center administration
- Strong understanding of Jira and Confluence internals, including database-level knowledge
- Experience with Java, Groovy, and ScriptRunner
- Excellent Bash and Python scripting for automation and customisation
- Experience deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Real experience with dynamic content management and Jira-to-Confluence integration
- Experience managing metadata across Confluence, Office, PDF documents, and SharePoint
- Linux server management experience; Red Hat preferred
- Prior work on the platform itself is a considerable advantage
- Valid security clearance
- Citizenship of a NATO member country
- Video narration by a native English speaker or someone at STANAG 6001 speaking level 4
