Job Description
Lead Power Systems Engineer at Radian Generation focusing on verification of facility models and compliance. Involved in analyses related to protection coordination and system stability across renewable energy resources.
Responsibilities:
- Support verification of facility models, system parameters, relay settings, and operational data required for reliability assessments
- Conduct analyses related to protection coordination, relay performance, generator behavior, and system stability
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Assist with drafting engineering reports, technical summaries, and system diagrams
- Drive the development and use of advanced automation scripts and tools to effectively conduct reliability studies at-scale
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System) or closely related discipline
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in power systems engineering
- 4-6 years’ work experience in NERC Compliance
- Strong background in generator modeling and dynamic performance validation
- Technical knowledge of power systems operations and NERC Reliability Standards
- Fundamentals of Engineering EIT or PE Certification obtained or in progress
