Job Description
Electrical Engineer specializing in BIM, developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Collaborating on projects with US clients, using tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Create 3D models and 2D drafting of electrical systems using BIM software such as Revit or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of IEC/IEEE, NFPA-70 standards.
- Responsible for performing modeling from LOD 100 to LOD 500.
- Responsible for handling media and low-voltage power distribution planning.
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure that electrical systems meet building codes and project requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical design and modeling for commercial and industrial buildings
- US project experience
- Strong understanding of BIM software and tools such as Revit or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
