Job Description
Lead a Poland-based engineering team building scalable software for Cencora’s pharmaceutical Trial Master File platform. Driving architecture, delivery, Agile practices and AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing software engineering team in Poland
- Design and develop scalable, modern software solutions
- Act as a hands-on technical leader across architecture, coding and delivery
- Champion high standards in quality, security and engineering best practice
- Drive Agile ways of working, including planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives
- Mentor engineers and help create a strong, collaborative engineering culture
- Support adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude
- Partner with colleagues across a distributed global organisation
- Work on next-generation software solutions for the Pharmaceutical Trial Master File space
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering experience, including building production-grade systems
- Experience leading or acting as technical lead for engineering teams
- Background in modern web development with C#, .NET Core, SQL and React
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and scalable system design
- Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience with microservices, containerisation, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Passion for modern engineering practices, including AI-augmented development
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in distributed teams
- Fluent English
