Job Description
Legal Engineer at Saga building AI workflows for legal professionals. Collaborating with experts to enhance legal processes and deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build the AI workflows that power our platform
- Work within Saga Lab, collaborating with legal domain experts and engineers
- Translate how lawyers think and work into structured processes for AI support and enhancement
- Enable the platform to perform sophisticated legal research and design workflows that mimic experienced lawyers' analysis of contracts
- Build systems that help legal teams work faster without compromising quality
Requirements:
- Legal qualification and experience working in law firms, in-house legal teams, or legal tech companies
- Experience with legal tech tools, document automation, or process improvement
- Strong communication skills: you can explain technical concepts to lawyers and legal concepts to engineers
- Hands-on mindset: you prototype, test, iterate and improve based on feedback
- Curiosity about how new technology can be pushed to transform legal work
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
