Job Description
US Legal Editor enhancing US legal content through expert collaboration and AI tools for LexisNexis. Ensuring accuracy of legal analysis and tracking legislative developments.
Responsibilities:
- Curate, enhance, and expand US legal analysis by partnering with expert authors and leveraging AI tools
- Review and refine AI-generated outputs before publication
- Track legislative, regulatory, and case-law developments to keep content current
- Manage portfolio delivery plans, collaborating with Content Operations to balance quality, speed, and cost
- Partner with Product Managers, Content Strategy, and Segment teams to ensure market alignment
Requirements:
- J.D. required
- 1–5 years of legal practice, legal publishing, or comparable legal content development experience
- Demonstrated ability to edit complex legal analysis for clarity, consistency, and voice
- Confidence working with AI-enabled tools for legal research, document summarization, content drafting, and editorial review
- Ability to interpret market signals, customer feedback, and data to inform content initiatives
- Clear, positive communicator who thrives on collaborating with stakeholders and partners
