Job Description
Legal Researcher / Translator specializing in translating legal documents from Finnish to English. Work remotely with a global team in RegTech solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit translations of laws, legal documents, and/or any other documents from Finnish to English
- Use the CUBE platform to Match sections of laws to sections in CUBE.
- Conduct legal research using official sources from your jurisdiction/s and language/s
- Conduct ad hoc/assigned research in your language/s from time to time
Requirements:
- Experienced linguist / translator, ideally with an understanding of information related legislation, and governance, risk and compliance
- Good research skills with an ability to analyse and interpret complex information
- Written and spoken English(UK) is a necessity
- Written and spoken Finnish is a necessity
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Good knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint, and ability to work with electronic research resources
- Ability to observe strict confidentiality
- Proven team skills
