Job Description
Lift Engineer servicing, repairing, and maintaining lifts across Bury St Edmunds for Stannah, a lift and stairlift engineering company. Managing a structured local route across commercial, residential, and public sites.
Responsibilities:
- Service lifts across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance
- Attend breakdowns and callouts
- Perform fault finding and restore lifts to operation
- Keep sites safe and compliant
- Complete site logs and basic paperwork
- Manage a structured route within an allocated patch
- Work across commercial, residential and public sites
- Receive support from a local team when needed
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a lift engineer in service/repair
- Full UK driving licence
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
- Comprehensive lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
