Job Description
Apprentice Lift Engineer servicing and repairing lifts for Stannah, a UK manufacturing and engineering company. Completing practical training and a Lift Engineering qualification across the Ringwood service branch.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow qualified Engineers, assisting with the servicing and repair of lifts
- Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard
- Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online
- Participate in at least 20% off-the-job training
- Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer
- Cover a route across the Ringwood service branch
- Complete a 40-month mix of practical, mentoring, and structured learning at the training centre
- Achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering
Requirements:
- Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4–9 (A–C) passes in Maths and English
- Keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role
- Valid driving licence or working towards one
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
- Passion for electronics and mechanics or previous experience in a mechanical/electrical role
