Job Description

Remote Loan Specialist supporting The Savings Group’s direct-to-consumer auto finance and refinancing business. Structuring loans, selling optional coverage, and managing documentation through funding.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct-to-consumer auto finance and refinance solutions
  • Respond to inquiries from customers already approved for refinance
  • Offer and explain additional finance and coverage options
  • Structure loans and pitch optional coverages
  • Manage loans through the steps required for funding
  • Prepare loans for the contracting process
  • Call borrowers to review electronic and title documents
  • Ensure documents are signed and tracked
  • Manage loan statuses and promptly correct errors
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored finance and refinance options
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly
  • Facilitate loan applications from start to finish
  • Complete and submit required documentation while working with supporting departments
  • Make 60+ outbound calls daily and complete 3–5 hours of talk time, texting, and emailing
  • Maintain product knowledge and develop sales skills
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections using a consultative sales approach
  • Work within lending partners’ guidelines
  • Guide customers through document signing and collect necessary stipulations
  • Follow up consistently until loans are funded
  • Perform quality assurance using lender information, state information, documentation, notations, and checklists
  • Collaborate with team members and departments
  • Adhere to regulatory and company policies
  • Manage and maintain an organized pipeline
  • Perform additional duties as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Basic computation skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Intermediate Excel ability
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and platforms
  • Experience with CRMs preferred
  • Must have a desktop or laptop PC capable of installing and running the Windows App
  • Device must support a hardwired Ethernet connection
  • Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Must provide own headset, mouse, and keyboard
  • Must be able to work weekends
