Job Description
Low Code Engineer developing robust, scalable applications with OutSystems for Kyndryl. Collaborating with teams and utilizing modern frameworks for high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and use design documentation, functional programming specifications, and high level design documents to implement identified components
- Ensure implemented components are documented appropriately, unit tested, and ready for integration into the final product
- Present/demonstrate implemented product features through playback sessions as required
- Provide fixes to defects identified during pre-production and post-production phases in the software development life cycle
- Provide work estimates for assigned development work
- Guide and explain features, functional objectives, or technologies that are being built to interested parties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and conduct review sessions with stakeholders
- Conduct unit testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability
- Ensure and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for seamless code promotion and deployment
- Work closely with QA teams to validate functionality, performance, and security
- Maintain application codebase including OutSystems platform components and custom integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues efficiently across all technology layers
- Monitor and optimise application performance across the full stack
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing applications using OutSystems, preferably with OutSystems certifications
- Proficiency in OutSystems platform features, including visual modelling, logic flows, data modelling, and user interface design
- Full-stack development capabilities including; Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Back-end: Python, C#, Java, or Node.js
- AWS Services: Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, and other relevant services for enterprise application deployment
- Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and API integration patterns
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline, and automated testing
- Application security best practices and authentication mechanisms
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in agile methodology tools – JIRA, Confluence, GITLAB
