Job Description
Software Change Management Consultant supporting application migration projects using IBM’s DBB/Git/IDD Solutions. Guiding clients through the conversion process and providing migration expertise and training.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Endevor (and other SCMs) DBB/GIT/IDD migration projects
- Perform installation, configuration, and problem determination for DBB/GIT/IDD on customer systems
- Analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting DBB/GIT/IDD related issues
- Conduct customer training sessions and develop presentation materials for DBB/Git/IDD and migration processes
- Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions
Requirements:
- Strong z/OS and mainframe background
- Experience in application development or system programming
- Proven customer interfacing and troubleshooting skills within migration environments
- Proven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS
- Proficiency in Groovy Scripts, YAML, GIT, Repos, Pipeline
- Ability to deliver DBB/Git/IDD training
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years as a Systems Programmer or similar
- 4+ years of customer-facing consulting experience
