Job Description
Manager of Product Engineering overseeing software and data engineering teams at Sourcewell. Responsible for building core data platforms and enhancing digital capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategy for product engineering
- Maintain an established set of enterprise architecture artifacts
- Drive advances in technologies to improve digital capabilities
- Design and select business-critical storage and data center environments
- Develop new applications to meet customer requirements
- Guide teams in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled product features
- Train or coach team members to improve performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, or equivalent experience
- Ten (10) years of experience in related roles
- At least two (2) years of demonstrated experience leading engineering work
- Experience contributing to system architecture, solution design, API development, or technical roadmaps
- Proficiency in SQL and technologies such as SQL Server and Azure SQL
- Experience with modern engineering practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with integrations across enterprise SaaS systems like Salesforce, Workday, and Cvent
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PHP
