Job Description
Manager of Supply Chain Purchasing overseeing daily operations and procurement for Prisma Health. Ensuring collaboration, compliance, and process improvement across Supply Chain activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the daily operations of the Purchasing department
- Ensures team member collaboration, innovation, adherence to policies and procedures
- Executes procurement activities while ensuring ethical procurement of supplies and services
- Collaborates with key stakeholders on Supply Chain strategic integration efforts
- Participates in Supply Chain management, developing budgets, programs, policies, and plans
- Partners with management to reduce expenses and maximize value without compromising quality of care
- Maintains constructive relationships with suppliers
- Utilizes dashboard analytics to measure Purchasing effectiveness
- Implements continuous process improvement strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Five (5) years Supply chain or related experience
- Strong leadership, facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management, strategic thinking, and using metrics for decision-making
- Comprehensive understanding of the ERP’s Purchasing software capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
