Job Description

Media & Social Monitoring Analyst in a global monitoring command centre. Focused on continuous media monitoring and escalation for high-profile clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor social media and traditional media channels continuously
  • Identify and flag relevant coverage based on defined criteria
  • Apply structured triage frameworks to assess potential risk
  • Document issues accurately with links, screenshots, and summaries
  • Escalate issues promptly according to SOPs
  • Complete clear shift handovers
  • Follow monitoring and escalation templates strictly
  • Work as part of a global, follow-the-sun team

Requirements:

  • Fluent, professional-level English (written and spoken)
  • Prior experience in media monitoring or social listening
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Cision, Lexis Nexis, or similar
  • Comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Able to follow structured processes and escalation rules
  • Calm, reliable, and consistent under pressure
  • Experience monitoring crisis or high-risk topics
  • Exposure to legal, financial, healthcare, or corporate reputation monitoring
