Job Description
Middle School Special Education Compliance Teacher at Stride delivering online course content and monitoring student progress. Developing IEPs and ensuring support for students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specific course content in an online environment
- Monitor student progress and support students and parents
- Develop compliant IEPs and ensure accommodations for special needs students
- Maintain student grade book and prepare students for standardized tests
- Communicate regularly with families and support learning coaches
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and teaching platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
