Job Description
Contract Motion Graphic Designer involved in delivering dynamic motion and video content for global cannabis brand. Collaborating with creative and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality motion graphics and video content for web, social, and in-store screens.
- Develop short-form video content (ads, reels, product features) optimized for engagement.
- Animate digital assets including banners, product highlights, and campaign visuals.
- Translate static designs into motion, enhancing storytelling and clarity.
- Execute fast-turnaround edits and iterations based on campaign needs.
- Ensure consistency across all motion outputs in line with brand guidelines.
- Produce animations for retail environments, including TV screens, window displays, and digital signage.
- Support campaign launches with motion assets across multiple channels.
- Adapt and version motion content for different formats, placements, and markets.
- Work closely with design and marketing to align motion with campaign direction.
- Create motion content that highlights product features, usage, and benefits.
- Edit and enhance video footage for marketing and brand initiatives.
- Contribute to concept development for motion-led campaigns and content.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver accurate and efficient work.
- Manage multiple projects with strong attention to deadlines and detail.
- Maintain organized files, assets, and version control.
- Communicate clearly on timelines, feedback, and creative direction.
- Export and deliver final motion assets in required formats and specifications.
- Ensure accuracy in timing, transitions, typography, and overall visual quality.
- Review outputs for consistency across platforms and environments.
Requirements:
- 3 – 4-year Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2 – 5 years of motion design or video production experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of motion principles, pacing, and storytelling.
- Experience creating content for social, web, and retail screens.
- Ability to work within brand systems while elevating creative through motion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain creative decisions.
