Job Description
Motion Graphics Designer creating branded motion campaigns and static assets for Tandem Theory, a Dallas-based creative agency. Developing concepts, animation, and client-ready deliverables across digital, social, broadcast, and print.
Responsibilities:
- Concept, design, and animate promotional and brand videos, primarily short-form motion graphics for broadcast, OLV, social, and digital placements
- Develop conceptual storyboards and bring them to life with compelling animation
- Design and build static campaign assets, including digital banners, emails, landing pages, print, and presentations
- Create on-strategy designs across multiple channels while maintaining brand consistency
- Execute projects through both design and motion phases
- Present ideas and work to internal teams and clients
- Collaborate with copywriters, creative directors, and fellow designers
- Stay current on design, motion, illustration, social, and digital video trends
- Build print-ready mechanicals for traditional deliverables
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to high-level agency projects
- Use technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and create higher-impact work
Requirements:
- Portfolio of work required
- 3+ years of design and motion graphics experience, preferably agency-side
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to ideate from scratch
- Illustration skills that enhance design and motion work
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Audition
- Understanding of Figma is a plus
- Ability to perform light audio editing
- Active knowledge, curiosity, and interest in working with AI tools
- Strong knowledge of digital and print design fundamentals
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, deadline-driven work environment
- Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle critiques and provide individual solutions
- Ability to solve problems proactively, resourcefully, and creatively
- Eligibility to work in the United States; documented proof of identity and employment authorization required
- Must pass a background screening process
- No work visa sponsorship available
