Job Description
Backend Developer using .NET for digital transformation consulting company Verity. Involved in developing applications, APIs, and microservices with cloud platform integration.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the development and evolution of backend applications using .NET 8 and .NET 9
- Develop, maintain, and evolve REST APIs, ensuring proper documentation with Swagger / OpenAPI
- Implement and maintain microservices, following architectural patterns and best practices
- Work in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE
- Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Develop unit tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, applying mocking techniques
- Use Entity Framework Core for data access and persistence
- Version code and collaborate in repositories using GitLab
- Work with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Actively participate in agile framework ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban)
- Contribute to refinement and estimation of stories using Story Points and T-Shirt Sizing
Requirements:
- Experience developing and evolving backend applications using .NET 8 and .NET 9
