Job Description
Network Analyst handling security operations and client incident management at Security Operations Center. Collaborating with global teams to optimize incident responses and mitigate DDoS attacks.
Responsibilities:
- Incident Management — Responsible for clients' daily operations;
- Responsible for detecting, mitigating, and resolving issues related to DDoS attacks targeting clients;
- Act as the frontline for handling incidents and customer concerns that may be related to the Network and/or Platform;
- Participate in the analysis, review, and summarization of incidents for customers;
- Participate in incident handling alongside subject-matter experts;
- Responsible for completing and submitting the Incident Report;
- Ensure proper handling of tickets;
- Ensure all tickets are updated and handled according to the SOC's defined incident management process;
- Ensure all tickets are properly logged to avoid gaps in how tickets are managed;
- Closely coordinate with Level 1 service to ensure immediate actions and troubleshooting are taken as soon as an incident is reported.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Advanced English level for constant communication with a global team;
- CCNA / JNCIA certification is a plus;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center;
- Knowledge of DDoS attack types is a plus;
- Experience in Information Security;
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, IGPs, BGP, GRE, and DNS;
- Experience with BGP and tuning;
- Experience in planning, configuring, and troubleshooting SP (Service Provider) networks;
- Experience with and knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies and solutions;
- Solid understanding of modern Internet technologies and businesses.
