Job Description
Cloud Network Engineer designing and supporting AWS cloud networking as part of the Cloud Network and Governance team at Redfin. Collaborating on scalable solutions and key engineering metrics for cloud services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution of Redfin’s cloud strategy by architecting scalable, elegant solutions
- Design and implement high-quality, reliable cloud networking solutions
- Partner with SEO, Platform, and Infosec teams to resolve cross-team dependencies
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code while mentoring peers through insightful code reviews
- Define and track key engineering metrics for cloud services
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud platform management experience, preferably in AWS
- Cloud Networking: CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, WAF, Shield, Route53, VPC Lattice, AWS Client VPN
- Experience with cloud platform observability tooling such as Datadog and CloudWatch
- 2+ years of experience in establishing, managing, and scaling a multi-account or multi-project cloud based environment
- Deep passion for Infrastructure as Code and can leverage tools such as Terraform, Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, Atlantis or CloudFormation
- 3+ years of experience with a scripting language such as javascript, Python or node
