Job Description
Microsoft New Business Sales Specialist generating UK opportunities and selling Microsoft licensing solutions. Building pipelines and winning customers for Radius’s sustainable mobility, connectivity, and technology business.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent business development activity
- Engage decision-makers across SMB and Mid-Market organisations to understand challenges and identify opportunities
- Position and sell Microsoft licensing solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, and Modern Workplace offerings
- Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations with prospective customers
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams to develop customer propositions
- Maintain accurate opportunity records, forecasts, and activity within CRM systems
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Stay current with Microsoft's licensing programmes, funding initiatives, incentives, and market developments
- Generate a significant proportion of opportunities through proactive, self-generated business development activity
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the Microsoft portfolio
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months' experience selling Microsoft licensing solutions
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft licensing, including Microsoft 365 licensing models and commercial licensing programmes
- Proven track record of generating and winning new business opportunities
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience selling Azure, Microsoft Security, Copilot, or Modern Workplace solutions (desirable)
- Knowledge of CSP licensing programmes (desirable)
- Experience working within a Microsoft Partner environment (desirable)
- Understanding of cloud migration, security, and digital transformation projects (desirable)
- Existing network of business contacts within the UK market (desirable)
